About Lindsey (she/her)
Welcome! I am a registered provisional psychologist with a deep commitment to supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I bring a blend of therapeutic approaches tailored to your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
My work is grounded in an attachment-focused lens, helping clients explore how early relationships shape their emotional lives, behaviors, and relationships today. I also incorporate parts work, a powerful tool for healing inner conflict and fostering self-compassion.
I specialize in supporting people through issues such as trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and navigating life transitions. I have a special interest in women's issues including health, infertility, postpartum depression and anxiety, and trauma-focused care.
My background as a teacher and school counselor has equipped me with valuable insight into the emotional and psychological challenges faced by children and adolescents and have an understanding of the issues and stress that teachers and support staff face.
Whether you are coping with trauma, grief, anxiety, or simply seeking to understand yourself better, I am here to help you heal, grow, and thrive. Together, we will work toward a place of balance, self-empowerment, and emotional resilience.
Looking forward to meeting you!
